  • Cheerleading?

So, here's what you'd be doing:

  • Plan the details for the Banner Design Competition
  • I'd try to send you a sample, once I get the soft-copy... till then, think of the various kinds of information you would want to include for the participants!

See you soon!! :)

Anti-Smoking/ Anti-Tobacco

Hi everyone,

we're working on this project to bring across the anti-smoking/ anti-tobacco message, so I've devised this blog for us as a platform to:

  • disseminate information -- links to good sites for info will be posted on the side
  • post questions for thought -- welcome comments
  • develop ideas for our project

So, let's get started!!

Read the links on the side...

Think it's always good before we start a campaign, to see what has been done before...

No need to "reinvent" the wheel, as they say... so I've done a search on the following:

  1. advertisements that are on anti-smoking
  2. ways to quit that have been suggested
  3. data on harmful effects of smoking

I think what we could do is to assess what advertisements are interesting and thought-provoking, and see how we can modify them and use them for our own event.

Do you remember S C A M P E R? It's one of the ways to brainstorm -- showed you all a sample of how it works with the "Snow White" cartoon? ;)

S -- Substitute

C -- Combine

A -- Alter

M -- Modify -- maximise/ minimise

P -- Put to another use

E -- Eliminate

R -- Reverse the order

Ok, take a look at the links and we'd discuss on Friday! :)

See ya!
